Welcome to Two Tone Electronics. This is a tiny company in Adelaide, South Australia dedicated to building and repairing valve/tube amplifiers and audio equipment to the highest possible standard. We will soon have pictures and audio of our products so far as well as information on what custom options and products we offer.
Our current products include 5 Watt (1 6V6), 12 Watt (2 6V6's) and 35 Watt (2 6L6) guitar amps as well as recreations of 1960's effects pedals (many of which have copyrighted names but include octave-up effects, various flavours of germanium fuzz, incandescant bulb driven phase shifters and replacement boards for Wah pedals). We can also convert Wah pedals to original VOXtm or Maestro Boomerang circuits with true bypass.
We also repair and restore vintage tube amps and keyboards - Wurlitzer, Rhodes, Hammond, Leslie, Farfisa etc. All parts are replaced with as identical as possible components (in both function and appearence) and great care is taken that the leads, joints and layouts are exactly as they were before (unless they were crappy before!). I can also recone the Jenson V21 driver in your Leslie 147/122.
We can also "Blackface" your "Silverface" Fendertm amp to various degrees - the first and simplest is to replace the bias balance circuit with a true bias adjust as well as replacing some of the cheaper capacitors used in the later production amps - for a complete blackfacing we replace the transformers and speakers with Mercury Magnetics transformers and Weber speakers...It's not a subtle difference!
Every part can be found, rebuilt or remade, every amp, keyboard or effect can be brought back to life - everything is fixable...

Here are some pictures of our "Superbe" amp - two cathode biased 6V6 output tubes, a 12AY7 preamp with a treble cut control and a split load 12AX7 phase inverter, producing 15 Watts of the warmest, most natural sounding compression you can get from a tube amp.
It features a combination of Sprague Atom, Orange Drop and Mallory 150 capacitors, Switchcraft sockets, CTS pots, Mercury Magnetics transformers, a 12" Alnico Weber speaker - the chassis is also from Weber, who make a particularly high quality unit with no ripples or buff marks showing through the chrome. The tubes are selected by ear for each amplifier from a combination of NOS and high quality current production tubes - every tube is evaluated by ear in every amp - although I can fit particular brands if you prefer - or you can put whatever you want in there when you get it home!
I'll have a page dedicated to this and each of our models as soon as I can but here's some pics for now...
